Strawberry ‘Kent’ (Fragaria × ananassa ‘Kent’) is an early–season June-bearing variety prized for its large, firm, glossy red berries and sweet, aromatic flavour. In late spring, the plants are cloaked in white blossoms before producing a heavy harvest of conical fruit in early summer. Compact and vigorous, ‘Kent’ thrives in full sun and rich, well-drained soil, making it ideal for garden beds, raised planters or containers. Hardy in Canadian zones 4–8, it offers excellent disease resistance and reliable yields year after year.
