In spring, clusters of fragrant white blossoms adorn the branches, followed by attractive dark green foliage throughout summer. By mid to late summer, the tree bears an abundance of bright red cherries ideal for fresh eating or preserves. Its small, rounded form reaches only 1.8–2.4 m tall, making it perfect for small gardens, patios or container culture.
