Latham Raspberry (Rubus idaeus ‘Latham’) is a reliable, early-season red raspberry renowned for its sweet, richly flavoured berries and exceptional cold hardiness. Developed in New York but thriving in Canadian climates, it produces firm, medium-sized fruit on biennial canes that ripen in July. The plant’s vigorous, upright canes and glossy green foliage create an attractive framework in the garden, while abundant yields make it perfect for fresh eating, freezing or making preserves. Latham performs best in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil and is hardy to –35 °C.
