Purple Coneflower ‘Magnus’ (Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’) is a robust, clump-forming perennial celebrated for its extra-large, deep rose-pink daisy-like flowers and pronounced golden-brown central cones. Blooming profusely from mid-summer into early autumn, it brings vibrant colour and architectural interest to mixed borders, prairie-style plantings and pollinator gardens. Thriving in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, ‘Magnus’ is drought- and deer-resistant once established. Hardy in Canadian zones 3–8, it also makes an outstanding cut flower and returns reliably each year.
